BuildingPro inspectors are registered architects or licensed building professionals who are properly trained and experienced to provide handover reports – not ex taxi drivers or gardeners who are “trained” in a matter of days.

Yes, we encourage this if possible so that you can be shown where the defects are and discuss these with the inspector onsite. Otherwise, the inspector can provide you with a verbal report over the phone soon after the inspection.

The length of time the inspection takes is affected by a range of factors including the type, size, method of construction, whether the client will be onsite and overall quality of the build. It generally takes at least one hour but may take two or more.
Yes, all inspectors are legally required to provide an inspection agreement prior to an inspection. When we receive a booking request, we will email to you a link to our terms and conditions for you to read and accept. If you have any questions, please ask for clarification before the inspection proceeds.
Once you have requested a booking and accepted our quote, we will send you a confirmation email of the date and time for the inspection together with a link to our terms and conditions for you to read and accept. A separate tax invoice will be emailed to you so that you may pay by credit card online. We require acceptance of our terms and payment before the inspection.
